My Ride: 2007 550i..... ex
I let my wax sit on there for at least 30 min. I give it extra time for the wax to "marinate" with the clear coat/paint or whatever and then wipe it off. Rememer if you're going to buff it by hand never go in a circular motion because that's what causes swirls. Instead wipe in an up and down motion (boy that sure sounded weird) and then if there's still haze left then use a quick detailer to get a nice shiny clean finish. It works great and I have jet black!

buff up and down to me is harder to do... i think side to side would be better... thats how i do it for my jet black and i have barely any swirls
