Hey guys, do any of you have suggestions as to how to keep the E60's trunk really clean. We will often have golf clubs, for example, in the car and want to keep the car clean. Is there anything that can be bought that will keep it clean and look right for the car?

Hope that's not vague.

Thanks,
-AJ

The trunk mat is reversible. You might want to use the back side which is rubberized. It prevents things from sliding around and I'm sure it's more washable.

I also thought I remember seeing something in the BMW accessories catalog like a trunk liner. (I might have imagined it though!)

small vacuum cleaner in maybe the netted compartment. Very easy to plug in in the trunk so can be used very quickly.

get the trunk liner from bmw, any debris can be easily vaccumed or wiped than sticking to the carpet.

That'll work, Sam, but I keep a small AC vacuum with beater brush mounted on the wall in the garage -- instantly accessible. Also have the wide BMW trunk liner.

I went to Home Depot and picked up a small roll of outdoor carpeting, took out the trunk liner from the car and put it on top of the carpeting. I then used a magic marker and and used the liner as a template. I also made a paper template of the small shelf area to the right and left of the trunk opening. I cut the carpeting and put it on top of the original liner. Now I can throw anything in the trunk. I also have the option of removing the carpeting to clean it or use the original liner as I see fit.
