My wife took my white E60 to work and has been parking it under a tree, to get shade. Now my car has these brown spots all over it. My car is white and I tried washing it but it appears that it needs a good detailing or some product to get it out. Its not sap. it seems it from the leaves, I think?
Please help, I am very upset. Thanks to anyone who can help.

Yes exactly. It comes off, if u rub it with a cloth or so, but it is all over the car, so it would take forever. I thought the same thing also, CLAYING IT. This is prob a stupid question, but where can I get clay? is there a certain brand or website, that I could get a good deal from?
If I take it to a detail shop, what would be a fair price to pay? Trying to see if its not that expensive, I'll have it professionally detailed, but at the same time, I am putting a M5 Kit on so the front, rear and sides are getting new pieces painted and installed. I wonder, do I wait and have it detailed after the new pieces are put on or it doesnt matter?
I am really sorry for all the questions, but I appreciate your input and helpfulness.

Don't be sorry for any questions, that's what this forum is all about!
I'm not from US, but I think Autogeek.net is a commond detailing supplies shop where you can get the most things you need. Here: http://www.autogeek.net/tarbug.html
I can't tell about the detailing prices in US, but I would get the car detailed AFTER the kit has been installed. Paintshops usually polish the painted parts very fast and roughly to get rid of dust particles etc, and this rough polishing usually leaves swirl marks on paint. A detailer would take care of them.

pd. Besides the clay, a good cleaner wax could solve the brown spot problem as well.

Thanks alot for the feedback. I was thinking the same, I have read a few post where you have mentioned about detailing after a paintjob and how the bodyshops typically leave swirlmarks or so. So for now, Ill try on my own to get some of the brown spots off and hopefully get a good detail after the install of the M5 kit. Thanks again

I use the liquid Meguiar's Cleaner Wax for stubborn stains.
If that does not work, I use Surf City Garage Beyond Clay (liquid clay).
Both are available in the automotive section of my local Wal-mart.
