The car:
Today I polished this light silver Honda Prelude 2.2VTi VTEC with the owner. It was quite a joy to work together and complete the job pretty quickly!

Introduction:
Everyone knows, how a silver color forgives much, and sometimes it's hard to even tell the difference after polishing! Maybe this time too, but we managed to take some pics to prove the improvement. To reveal the swirls and scratches better, many pics are pretty dark overall. Sorry about that.

The clearcoat:
Ok, so some swirls, but they were pretty light fortunately. Only few deeper scratches here and there. The car has been maintained nicely.
It was a pleasure to work with a softer clearcoat for a change, but it had its price too. The clearcoat felt very very sticky under the rotary, and it literally ate pads quickly.

Tools, pads and polishes:
After a quick test run I decided to do the first pass with a rotary and Menzerna PO85RD 3.02 + Lake Country CCS orange light cutting pad. The second pass was done with a DA and Menzerna PO85RD + LC CCS white polishing pad.

LSPs and trim:
We wanted a durable protection, so the car was sealed with a Carlack68 NSC and FK1000P. Tires got a Meguiar's Gold Class Endurance Tyre Gel treatment.
