Is the optional High Gloss Shadow Line easy to maintain i.e. similar to waxing the cars bodywork etc. or does it require any special cleaning agent to keep the shine.

It's the same as the rest of the painted surfaces. It's pretty durable and just needs a coat of wax when you wax the car.
