My Ride: 05 530 Titanium Silver/Sexy black
So this morning im backing out of my garage when I slightly hit my gf's stupid little ass car which she usually parks on the other side. I got some white smudge on my black plastic bumper of my X5 now. I tried using "Back to Black" by mothers but that did nothing. Anyone know of a black marker or something that can fix this thing or am I destined to go paint all black plastic parts space gray?
Yes I know I have a backup camera but the damn thing takes 10minutes to load.... ughhh

I would try a swirl remover with mild levels of abrasives to see if it removes the scuff , if it needs more try a cut polish , then the Back to Black.................good luck

is it white to the bumper or white marks, if its marks you can hand polish them out.
use a polish that you have to remove them.

So hand polish on the black plastic bumper piece? Wont it leave residue?

Or the best possible solution might be to replace the trim.

The residue can be removed with a firm bristle brush , you can also put black shoe polish on the spot to blend the color.... I've used this trick on other cars and it works great ... good luck
Well I tried this polish I use and it worked very well. Im going to try to use some black shoe polish, that sounds like a good idea. I love E60.net, i posted this same stuff on x5world and I get a PM telling me to change my sig because people complained it isnt safe for work

You should write back to that jackass and tell him he shouldn't be viewing X5world at work. Maybe if he did some real work and stopped F-ing around on some X5 forum, this country can get out of recession. LOL!

Yea seriously, X5world doesnt really have anything to do with mods and stuff. Just a bunch of people crying about options like comfort access and bs nit picky bullshit whining. I wanna see and hear about mods but I guess x5 isnt the car to do that to.
