Washed it today using Meguiars which I have never used before, but as I had bought a black car I thought I better get some cleaning stuff. Normally just use Autoglym or whatever is available.
Anyway I used the Gold Class Shampoo, then dried with the Water Magnet Towel followed by Deep Crytsal Polish, and that was it.
I am going to wax it tomorrow and do the wheels properly too, but have to say I was very impressed with the Meguiers, even after the wash and dry it looked great, and the car was filthly, I have done 2000 miles in it over the last week and that included driving in slush through Switzerland.
The Polish was so quick to apply and more importantly remove I can't recommend it highly enough, even a lazy bugger like can be bothered to do it.
Didn't get to take the pics until nearly dark so you can't see it really sparkle, but thought I would post them anyway.
One thing I did notice was just how much blue is in the Carbon Black paintwork when it is really clean.

Top quality job gIzzE...
The Gold-Class shampoo is the best I've found.

Although being black it will probably only last 10 miles looking like that, as you well know IMU.
