Hey Everyone!!! Yes, I am already worried about cleaning the tips with 120 Miles on the car. My tips are starting to get black and I was wondering what I can use to clean them? Thanks!!!
We have a product called Wonder Wheels over here - great on rims but also works very well on stainless pipes, you just need to be careful to rinse off fairly quickly as it will tarnish the stainless......it does however restore them to pristine condition. For those Diesel owners it does also get rid of the brown stains, you have to scrub pretty hard though

Blimey. I just wipe a chammy over em.

If I really got excited about my "tips" I might use the wife's Duraglit. After all, they're only chrome.

I accept that I should get out more.......it does though only take less than a couple of minutes and you just rinse off with the hose pipe - tis hardly concourse standard work.

Not sure that the 530d has a "tip". Does your 330d?

by 'tip' i am assuming we are talking about twin chrome exhaust tips / tailpipes? If so, yes the 330d has these.......
