Hey Everyone!!! Yes, I am already worried about cleaning the tips with 120 Miles on the car. My tips are starting to get black and I was wondering what I can use to clean them? Thanks!!!

I've thought about that but it will take too much time to keep that part clean so I just forget about it. I will change it to a new one if it's to the point that's bothering me so much.

I use a product called Never Dull. It's great stuff to polish anything that's chrome. It's a wadded up fabric type material that you year apart and rub on to the chrome area.

About $5 at any auto store. Comes in a silver can.

i think any type of metal polish would do, on my car its only the very tip that rolled in that turns black. i use a similar polish that wasupdu uses purchased at a trade show had it for 4 yrs now ..very little wad goes along way..ericd

Thanks! Yea, I want to keep the chrome shining! I assume that I can use this stuff on the door trim as well?

I use window cleaner. Works like a charm.

The chrome plating on the tips is minimal. So expect to wear off after a couple of times you polish it.

For the window trims use some aluminum oxidazitation cream. They are anodized aluminum and anything else will destroy them.
