Thanks Piyu,
I have a question for you, what is the difference between cutting, compounding, polishing and glazing?
I can imagine that glazing will be to add shine to the car, but im confused about cutting and polishing, isn't it the same, cutting removes swirls and so does polishing?

cutting would be for agressive polishes like SIP
polishing would be for final polish like 85rd
glazing for glazes after the final polish (not necessary)

I'm thinking about picking up a FLEX polisher. As this will be my first DA/RO purchase, I'll also need some backing plates, pads and polish. What size pads and colors do you guys recommend?
My paint is in pretty good shape and has minor spiderwebbing from normal wash, so I don't think I would need that intensive of a polish. I was thinking MENZERNA PO106FF for the paint.
But I bought some used Euro-headlights that need some major correction. I already have Meguiars's PlastX, do I need a more intensive polish?
Please help. Thanks!

I should have some flex in 3-4 weeks back in stock.
6.5 inch ccs pads would be a great start.
as for a backing plate the flex has its own backing plate so you won't need one.

What color pads/cutting power do you recommend I pickup?
Do I need smaller pads for the headlights and other areas like the license plate?
How do you polish underneath the door handles?

polish the door handles by hand.
with the flex the smallest pads are 5.5 inches.
Here is the pad kit:
