Here's what you need:
Flex XC 3401 VRG orbital polisher

Strong as a bull! A real all around machine. I've had it for 1,5 years now and works great!
See some results I've got with it here:
Honda Civic Type R
MB CLK 320
My own E60: The first time, The second

I'll supply the beer... beer and detailing with high speed tools probably does not go hand in hand!

Thanks, man! I've scrapped the idea of buying the drill bit - I made arrangements to borrow my friend's professional one at his body shop he has the sheep's wool thingies for it - I think that'll do just lovely for a proper job

Hey, I can supply some extra beer too hoping that by the meet's time I'll have my LCI already though - that thing's black, so you know I'll be needin' some detailing pretty often hahaha

No because the claybar strips everything on the clearcoat. It's meant for cleaning the surface throughouly.

Be careful with those lambswool pads, they are more abrasive than foam pads. And my guess is that your friend's polisher is a rotary...?
If so, I truly hope you have used one before .

edit: Keith was quicker .
