I started carrying Meguiars Quick Detailer and microfiber cloth but I would need to buy one for the windshield.

Jeff - I was told that if you lick it up and it tastes like sugar, it won't stain. Personally, I haven't tried this method, but it's worth a shot. Let me know if it really works.
you kill me C!!

Craigm1841 clearly has too much time on his hands at work. But he's very good with google and analysis. But his analysis begs the question - if the numbers are for an "unladen European Swallow" what would you laden a European Swallow with? A passenger? Lunchbox? Groceries? Guilt? And then what happens to the poor swallow.

Common, you KNOW this already. It is ladened with poo!!! Upon release on your car, it becomes an unladened Swallow!

Actually the birds are not my main problem with parking under a tree...its pollen, petals and leaves. I have a car cover but its too bulky and when wet and dirty it's not something you want to be folding up before going to work. Wish there was some kind of lightweight cover that you could roll out from the trunk and then secure at the front of the car with minimal contact between cover and clothes.

Craigm1841...24mph...great.. now what about two ladened swallows carrying a coconut?

Note quite sure what you guys are talking about these last 2 pages of this thread ...

But a MF Towel (always loaded on board for these emergencies) seems to work fine.... and yes a little bit of Meguiar's Wax does the trick.
