While visiting JDN in Dallas I noticed how well maintained and clean his rims were.
I was surprised he just dusts them off and cleans them with a brush and water...

Tried it today...following Jimbos tip about dusting off with Swiffer, I proceeded to
clean the rims with water and a soft brush. I was able to get deep in the rim walls
with the brush with the water running at a gentle pace over the brush.
Was surprised how much brake dust had accumulated. In 20mins I was finished
and definately impressed with the result considering all I used was some water.
I reckon once a week - should keep my rims in showroom condition!!

Nice one Jim!!

Yea Swiffer!
Good job.
If you use a Cal. Mini-duster before they get too dirty, you can do with out the water.

Jimbo, this is Holland !! I get drenched in rain for most part of the year - I gonna
use water like hell and get my blood back!!

PS . Nice tip on the Swiffer, used it inside as well on the interior. Just perfect!

Andy,

Just curious about what kind of brush you used...how long? Did it reach the entire rim? I ask only because I like to clean the entire interior of the wheel.
