Hey guys, got a tad of dirt or grease or something on the pillar, same material as head liner. What to do? What to do?

Don't panic dude, try to use warm water with a soft bristle brush and see if it comes off. Remember not to rub too hard. If all that fails, get a carpet cleaner like stoner or turtle wax brand, and go through the stain again with the brush. Should be able to come out. :thumbsup:

When I had the windshield replaced on my 740i a few years ago, they got some of the windshield sealant on the a pillar interior trim, but to my amazement they completely removed it using a cleaner in an aerosol can, and dabbing with a towel. I'd call a high end detailer and ask what they use.

You can use any aerosol carpet cleaner or even a multi purpose cleaner as long as its an aerosol. Aerosols are better at cleaning the thinner material on posts & headliners than liquid base cleaners, due to there surperior lifting action. Try not to use a brush just use a damp cloth or towel to wipe up after you sprayed the area, a brush can fray the material if you scrub to hard. 1 more thing after you spray the cleaner wipe any excess that gets on your windows quickly do not let it dry on the glass as it may stain. The dealer should have some "magic" cleaner for stuff like this as well. They might be able to clean it up for you.
