How should I clean the chromed exhausts on my car? Something white is covering them. Some said Tar remover? Any ideas?

There are various chrome polishes available. Unfortunately, I can not remember the names of them. There is one "Blue Something" that is used by motorcycle guys to remove the bluing that happens on hot pipes. I use it on my Yukon Chrome extensions that start to blue up.

You can find it at any parts store.

Hope this helps.

I bought a chrome polish from BMW dealer. Actually I thought I should clean the exhausts first before polishing them. How should I use the polish?
