Anyone have any recommendations in terms of what product to use to clean the exhaust tips? The bottom half of each one has gotten really black and nasty. I'd like to clean them nicely and get them blinging again.

I've used P21S Multi-Surface Finish Restorer Polish on my cars for years with great results. The first time, don't be afraid to use some elbow grease, and more than one application might be necessary:

Once polished, use Rejex and they'll stay clean longer and clean up will be easier:

WD-40 leaves a nice gleaming finish. Good for chrome bathroom fixtures, too.

I use Never Dull - http://www.nevrdull.com/

Pretty cheap and easy to use.

Autosol chrome & metal polish works great for me. Use the paste instead of the liquid...

Lomag, Replace it with a B&B.
Actually, I use a product called Ouator (pronounced water).
Not sure where I go it (Emmons Coachworks, maybe). It is some kind of a steel wool like substance that is coated with something (how's that for a technical description).
Anyway, the stuff polishes the tips quite well and does a great job on my license plate frames after they get beat up with the Boston area sand & salt.
