I started a cleanup project that is going to take few days .
I handwashed my car last time in January, and the along the spring the car got very dirty. The winter itself wasn't actually a problem as the temps remained subzero most of the time.
Today I started with the wash, and tomorrow I'm going to do a light polish and wax. Then it's going to be the interior's turn to be turned from dirty to clean. I'll take the usual pics for sure. Not one of them today, though.
Wash process was:
1) Turtle Wax Super Detergent Spray --> rinse with the power washer
2) Repeated
3) Bilt-Hamber Autofoam sprayed with a pw & foam lance --> rinse with the pw
4) Repeated
5) Handwash with a lambswool mitt & Turtle Wax Big Orange Car Shampoo & two buckets --> Rinse with the pw
6) Sonüs Ultra Fine clay + Turtle Wax Big Orange Car Shampoo + water as lubricant --> Rinse with the pw
7) Drying with the Chemical Guys Ultra Plush drying towel
Left the car in a club garage and getting back there tomorrow...
It really felt good to clean the car again after a long time and I bet I'll love the polishing and waxing process tomorrow .

Alrighty then...
I went back to the club garage this morning to continue the cleaning process.
I slightly polished the car with the Britemax #4 Black Max, which is ultra fine polishing glaze. I added it with the Flex XC 3401 VRG polishing machine and Lake Country CCS White pad (light polishing pad). I've noticed this combo works mightily on almost swirl free surfaces. Now I had only some light marring after the winter and it's gone now. For anything deeper Britemax #4 isn't enough.
After polishing I added a layer of Dodo Juice Supernatural carnauba wax, which is the best wax I've ever used. Very easy to put on thinly, and a miracle to polish away.
I used AutoGlym Fast Glass to wipe the windows and Instant Tyre Dressing for the tyres. I know I have to wash the car on Thursday again after driving to Helsinki, so I didn't bother to do much else.
Interior cleaning probably tomorrow, as well as installing the front splitter for the summer again. Too bad I had to start the summer season with my current wheels&tyres .
The pics are as usual:

Today I continued with the interior. I was doing it after work, so the time was limited and I have to finish it tomorrow (door sills etc.). I used AutoGlym Interior Shampoo and AutoGlym Vinyl & Rubber Care. Sure I vacuumed everything first.
Here are few pics:
I also installed the plugin connection for my CTEK trickle charger. Now it's even easier to use than before. Always a clear connection and no need to use clamps (sorry about the filthy engine bay):
Tomorrow: Splitter, engine bay and finishing the interior.
