The weather here has picked up today, so I thought that I would give her a bit of clean.

On your advice, I got some microfibre cloths for wiping down. (my chamois is now in the bin - these microfibre cloths are good).

Did my usual wash down, finishing with some RO water for the final rinse; then the wipe down with the cloths.

Quite pleased with the results, although I noticed alot of white spots on the paint. These seem to come off with a little rubbing tho'.

I have ordered some Mothers Californian Gold Clay Bar from Ebay, looking forward to the results.

I presume, that I will need to rewax after the claying??

Quite pleased so far, considering she's nearly four!

Thanks for the advice.Caly Bar here I come-25032007056.jpg

usually clay will remove most of the wax on the car (unless youre using a low abrassive clay), so another coat of wax is a good idea.

if you really want a great shine (and have the time), may i suggest a paint polish after you clay; i use p21s gloss enhancing paint polish...its a chemical polish that completely removes everything on the suface and REALLY slicks up the surface in preparation for wax, as well as removing fine swirl marks.

so; wash, clay, wash, polish, wax.

i just did my car today...took me 5 hours, but im thrilled with the results.
