Hello E60 fans,

There were few scratches on my car (both sides of the passengers door). So I bought the BMW scratches remover, after i applied the scratches seemed to go away but then it left a big shinning spots (area where I applied the cream). Btw, my car is Jet-Black that's why these shinning spots very easy to notice during the day time.

Can you someone please tell me how can I remove these shinning spot. I've tried to wash and apply wax. It didn't help. The shinning spots still there. Did i screw up big time?

Thanks

Could you describe these spots more or take some pictures. Maybe you just polished the paint on those areas .

You should buff the entire door to eliminate this , you've removed all the wax and fine debris from the area and it will highlight the spot until you correct the entire door.....GL

Dude, wax the whole car. Better yet, clay, polish, then wax the entire car, or at least that panel.

its got a shiney spot because you have effectively polished that spot, to get it to go away polish the rest of the car or at least the whole door.
