The answer is simple, since you live in NJ. Take it to the guy that replied right above me. Phil is the FMINUS of the East!

Reason Flex is better:
1) more powerful and true DA (dual action polisher), you can press down hard of the pads and the agitation would not diminish since it uses gear mechanism. PC is random orbital, meaning if you press on the pad it agitates less and less, bog-down. You can correct (get rid of swirls) more on Flex by tayloring on the pressure of the pads.
2) Higher speed setting 5 on Flex is like 6 on PC, so the higher RPM (w/ less pressure) allows you to jewel the finish.
3) Trigger is variable, PC is on-off.
At the end, you can correct deeper scratches in less time. I remove deep scratch (taking out about 4-6 um of clear using MEG105 with Flex according to my Defelsko Combo PG meter and it finish LSP ready in 1 pass, that's about 2'x2' in 45 sec folks). It can be beast if you want to like in this case.
But gentle, light pressure, LC white and Menz PO85RD, paint meter register 0-um taken.
Love my Flex3401, I doubt I'll go to rotary anytime soon.
