Hello everyone!

I've been reading this forum for a while now, just never gotten around to posting anything..
One thing I have to say tho, is that I am impressed with how many smart people are on here!
This is one of the most informative E60 forums I have ever come across, and I have used it to solve problems for both myself and friends of mine.

Thank you to the community on here for your knowledge and enthusiasm!

Now to my question;

I have a 2005 BMW 525i with the Dark Polar wood trims.
All of you probably know how easally these trims scratch.. mine has a few hairline looking scratches here and there that I am looking to get rid of..

Any advice on what products to use?

I asked a friend of mine and he said to try a product called Meguiars Scratch-X, any thoughts on this? is it a good product?

...Thought I would run it by this forum, so that I don't end up buying a useless product, or mess up my trims.. xD

You might just try some regular car wax if the scratches aren't too deep.

Yeah..thats what I do....Griots Polish #4, followed by their "Best Of Show" wax

Well, if you mean regular car wax that won't help you.

To polish the scatches so that they won't be visible to the human eye (they will still be there technically speaking!) you need a polish before applying the wax. There are different versions depending how much scratches you want to remove, but here you definitely should go for a "softer" version that won't remove too much.
