I've got some dirty spots on my seats from the previous owner....(behind where the front seat belts lay on the seats, and lower back areas). I've tried Mcguires conditioner/ cleaner, and Zymol cleaner. Neither of them even began to remove the dirty spots.
What brands have worked well for everyone who has Beige Dakota? Does a straight cleaner actually clean better than a combo cleaner/ conditioner?
Thanks

Possibility #1 = A stain has penetrated the leather. If it is the case cleaning it may be very difficult or impossible to remove. I would use a leather-specific cleaning product followed by a good leather conditioner. (Check out http://www.leatherique.com/)
Possibility #2 = The surface dyes have been worn off and the underlaying leather looks "dirty" ... but it actually isn't. A good upholstery shop could redye the leather to match the rest of the material.
