It would help to know what it was. For example some stains are from water soluble liquids (soda for example) others require a solvent to remove oil-based stains, etc. Using the wrong cleaning product might actually make a stain worse. Others can dissolve or weaken the adhesives that hold the headliner material to its backing.

If it's high velocity blood splatter ... get a lawyer first!

its a strawberry flavored NO2 workout supplement, it was a new brand and i didnt know that it was gassy so when i opened the cap after shaking it, it exploded all over the liner on top

no blood lol

I would start with paper towels and blot up any liquid that has soaked into the headliner. Blot up what you can and follow up with a microfiber rag moistened (NOT soaking wet) with club soda. Pat dry with a white cotton terry towel or more paper towels. Do a little at a time and try not to soak the headliner.

I think use a "slightly" damp MF cloth with mix of APC (All purpose cleaner) could do the trick
