My Ride: *on order* expected 12/20/07: 2008 550i space gray, gray leather, anthracite bamboo, sport pkg, logic7, iPod, HD, Sirius, Navigation, head-up display, comfort access, heated front seats, fold-down seats
I have a detailer that I've used for several years now. It's convenient b/c he comes to you (your home or office). He is really good. I am a very picky and meticulous person and have very high standards. This guy is top notch. He was referred to me by a friend who is an exotic car broker in Beverly Hills. He has this guy do all of their details for prepping for auto shows.
I just had him come to my house on Saturday and detail my car... it's been a while and it needed it. He has different levels of service, this time I went for the whole deal which included buffing out several scratches, color sanding a scratch (my trunk had been keyed resulting in a 2 1/2 foot scratch -- which he got out 100%), claying the entire car, coat of polish, coat of glaze, followed by 2 coats of different waxes. The car looks absolutely amazing. The wheel wells are spotless & wheels are cleaned all the way through... not a speck of brake dust on them --- anywhere. In the past, he's actually removed the wheels to get them thoroughly clean. The entire car looks amazing and feels like glass. He also left the interior spotless.
I will try to snap some pictures today and post them. I wish I would have taken some 'before' pictures.
His prices are not cheap... but well worth it IMO. He has two guys work with him, and he spent almost 7 hours on my car.
Feel free to send me a PM for more info and I can put you in contact with him.
EDIT: attaching some ext. pictures taken from my cell phone cam.

Sorry for the late reply... I missed the posts to this thread.
I didn't have him do under the hood or rusty calipers. He does do that type of service, but of course that comes at a cost. If you talk to him to get an estimate, its good to go into detail about what you expect from the job. If you want a wash and wax, he will do that. If you want him to clay the entire car, polish, glaze, wax and more wax, detail the engine, etc. It's no problem, it will just take him longer and he charges for that.
I've responded to all PMs I received with more info on contacting him.
