Has anyone used the 3M scratch removal kit?

It's basically the exact same as the 3M headlight kit that is shown on here....

I know with all detailers the flex and PC are the most advocated...but I have no garage electrical outlet access nor a hose....so i'm kinda S.O.L

I'd much rather do this on my own but don't really know any options?

I used the headlight kit to polish my trim that I redid and that came out with a nice look...but not really ballsy enough to try it on my exterior paint without some advice...anyone know? let me know!
