I always make an appointment and go early in the mourning, for this very reason. I refuse to drive a piece of crap.

I feel a little bit bad for not wanting a car with the same engine you have Gene in a smaller chassis when you get saddled with a Malibu! Would you believe I hate my loaner?? Oh who am I kidding, it powerful, and fun to drive (in fact on my next car it WILL have SMG). I hope we BOTH get our cars back soon!

do this..
Step 1
Get two cafeteria trays and back your rear tires onto them
Step 2
Pull your parking brake up
Step 3
Crank your steering wheel all the way to the left (or right).
Step 4
Gradually step on the gas pedal. (Don't forget to start your car) You'll know if you're doing it right.

The last 4 times my car has been in for service, I was given a 335 and an X5. I wasn't thrilled with either. Not that I hated the cars themselves, but I hated the fact that they had little to no options. Having a fully loaded BMW(any model) with the Sports Package is not only the best, but a must. Once you have these options, you realize you can't live without them.
