Going to the car dealership is always a waste of time and agony.

All the CPO-ed cars are like 5-6k more than retail places and they always make you feel like they are trying to give you a deal.
A deal of Rape that is.

let me hear you crazy stories, if you got any.

I got mine from a dealer but it was used at a Land Rover dealer. I actually had a great experience and got a steal. The key is going at the end of the month.
It was bought as a CPO in November of 07 and then traded in for a westminster range rover.

so really your car is CPO. if i understand correctly they are transferrable.
yeah you got a really sweet deal. I know my sister got some pretty good deal from the Range Rover/Jag. dealership in VA.
I guess they are more flexible than these BMW/MB dealership.

You go there for a 20 minutes operation and you have to wait 3 hours there

Not all stories are agony, all you have to do is some research, the BMW (Ralph Schomp) I used in CO, is one of those no haggle dealerships and I bought my 05 CPO for just about book NADA trade in value, plus BMW was running a financing special 2.9%. So combined with the financing and the price I would say I got a steal, plus I am under warranty for years to come.

+1 for the end of the month, go on the last saturday of the month and all the dealer wants to do is move the cars off the lot.
