As some of you already know, I am interested in buying a 2004 545i. I didn't buy the last 545i that i saw at 11k miles since it was an automatic (but it was really beautiful). However, I found one with the following stats: 2004 545i w/ 50,000 miles - no factory warranty.

So question is, would you buy this 50k miles for $32k?
How many miles do you think a 545i would last with proper maintenance?
Should I buy an extended warranty for 3 years, 36,000 miles for $3,300?

well depending on the options is seems alittle high for me. They are selling between 28,000 and 30,000 here in chicago and those are sport package, and no NAV. I would get the warranty and see what options it has in it for that price..just my .02

I just took another look at my local Chicago area and it appears I stand corrected. They are currently going for 33,000 with the same set up you have a nd milage. So i think your on the right path as far as price goes. You seem to be getting a 1,000 cheaper than the average price in Chicago...Good luck
