I like some aftermarket wheels but many I've seen on E60s IMO just ruin the car. Two much blank space and not enough rim. Almost invisible. its a sedan not a F1 car.
If the stock wheels were really sub-standard I would consider replacing them, but IMO the thousands you pay for a set of rims is just not worth it unless ofcourse you need an extra set for your seasonal set up.

JDN - that's actually my garage? ![Big Grin](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/biggrin.gif)
I put on the SSR's last night.? I left my notes at home, but if my memory is correct the 124 rear's weighed 64.5lbs each and SSR rears weighed in at 56lbs.? The 124 front were 61lbs and the SSR's were 54lbs!? So a little lighter and hopefully nimbler.
In changing out the rims my 9 year old son kept asking, "Dad do you know what your doing"?
Activated the Sirius this morning and that's awesome, the iDrive is great - don't understand the fuss...the daytime driving lights are on which I don't want - do you have to have dealer turn them off?
Was so excited to drive to the office this morning that I left the house without my briefcase, so I had to go back -?
just another 30mins in the car?
Asked the dealer just the hand wash and not to do anything else, so I plan on Zaino this weekend, needless to say I am over the moon?
Here is a pic from this morning and will post more later...
Cheers

Sweet ride, congrats. You need to tint the windows.
Just got a 530i last week and the tint really makes it kickin'! I do need some cool wheels like you, though!
