I believe it to approx ?900 + VAT then ?100 excess for each claim you make.

This also only covers certain items, it is not a complete warranty

Not worth it in my opinion.

A lot of companies offer warranties at a far more reasonable cost. But like BMWs, there's a minefield of smallprint & get out clauses..

http://www.warrantydirect.co.uk/

these are the uks biggest warranty provider

on the basis of a 2003 525i, 60k miles, 30k a year or less, non bmw garage to do work, is ?350 a year.

Not a lot of exclusions, but 'wear and tear' applies

i suggest you compare

cheers

steve

They will also cover you for Main Dealer repiar and a % of wear and tear costs for a price,

The trade acknowledge the cover is more comprehensive than manufactuers.

Get your car served before the warranty goes out and get all issues, possible and small fixed.
This way you get a two year warranty on those.

How many kilometers have driven?

In my experiense, if something brakes within a year or so after the warranty,
the parts will be payed by BMW.

A later CIP may help - the steptronic controlled has been tweaked continuously? Although avoid the headlight breaking CIP23.02!
