Attached is my trip report from my Euro delivery last week. I have tons more pics, and am trying to figure out the best way to post them in a gallery so they are downloadable. In the meantime, this should help anyone about to take delivery over in Munich.

Attached is part 1 of 3.

Awesome writeup! What was your impression of Salzburg? My wife and I are staying there during our ED trip next month. Sounds like you stayed in hotels that were definitely off the beaten path, with the exception of the airport hotel in "Wien." We're staying in much more centrally located places for our trip.

Congratulations on the new ride.

thanks all. Salzberg was beautiful. My wife could have spent the whole week there. I have a bunch of pics if you would like them. PM me and I'll email them to you.

Nice job with the write up. Reminds me of my Euro delivery last month for my 545i. I can't wait to do another one sometime in the future.

Excellent trip report. I am military stationed in Naples, Italy thinking of buying an E60 525 through the Diplomatic Sales Program instead of going through the U.S. Military Sales Program. I figure that the 2 to 3 k I will save doing the leg work will help pay for some of the options. I am looking forward to the car pick-up experience in Munich. Ciao.
