I brought my car back to the dealer with tire noise and vibration, dealer agreed tires were not wearing well. According to my SE, BMW has had alignment problems from the factory on cars with active steering. This was confirmed on the anlignment machine and a Puma was opened. SE called me yesterday and said car would be fitted with 4 new tires and alignment all at no cost to me. Needless to say I was very pleased. I picked up my baby today and could not believe my eyes, the car was fitted with 4 brand new Michelin Pilot Sport ZR rated tires. I asked my SE about the car having only run flats and he said this was the second car he had seen done this way. OK guys I need your help here, should I be elated or concerned, I thought BMW was very high on RF tires and all 545 w/sport were only fitted RF. On the other hand, these tires should ride better even if they don't wear as well. Either way I have got say that both my dealer and BMWNA treated me very well. Oh I almost forgot, dealer gave me a brand new (with only 2 miles) X3 as a loaner, Nice car.
