How long did it take to get your car from the VPC to the dealer? Did the do modifications to your car at the VPC?

How long did it take for your dealer to process the car?

Thanks

My car took seven days from the day it landed in Charleston till the day it arrived at my dealer in New Orleans. Assuming no delays at the VPC, that is not a bad guess. As I recall you said you were in Dallas, so give a margin of error, say 7-10 days to dealer. Are you having the M kit added? if so that may delay things further...

My car hit the VPC on a Tuesday, and the following Thursday afternoon it was on my dealer's lot. Of course, I'm only about 3-1/2 hours north of the VPC driving time, so that made it a fairly quick transit time for me once the car left the VPC. Where abouts are you?

I know that the VPC here on the west coast has been turning the cars around in a couple of days...meaning once they hit the VPC, in a day or two they are on a truck to the dealerships. I'm not sure how things are moving on the east coast. I think your VPC would be in S.C.?? Is your car at the VPC now?

If you have a good SA/dealership, they can monitor progress for you. The last few days are the toughest!!

My car got from the Port in Charleston to my Chicago Dealer in just 4 days. I think alot depends on timing and the amount of pull your dealer has. My car came in to port near the end of the month and I know that the dealer pushed to get it delivered by month's end to get it into their sales quota for May.

What dealer did you use. Two days from VPC to dealer is fast. My car reached VPC in NJ on Monday. My Dealer is Knauz in Lake Bluff. I am having M kit installed. I ordered in feb so its been a nearly 4 month wait for me.

I bought from Laurel BMW in Westmont. They are owned by AutoNation Group which owns numerous dealerships throughout the US. I think the primary reason I got my car so quickly was that it was at the end of the month. Now that your car arrived into the beginning of the month, there is less pressure to get it delivered quickly. My understanding is that 7-10 days is more typical for delivery from the VPC to the dealership especially when you are having equipment installed.
