Hello I was just trying to confirm something. Is tax on a lease in NJ on the monthly payment including financing charges ie Interest. So if my monthly payment is 450 per month which include depreciation and Interest then my tax would be 7% *450. That is what I thought it was but when I read http://www.state.nj.us/treasury/taxation/pdf/njcar.pdf It looks like it says they can only charge the 7% on the depreciation amount and not on the interest. Can anyone clarify? Thanks
