Still no production slot allocated!

Ordered my 530i back in early March and still no word of a production slot being allocated. When i ordered the car, i was told delivery by mid-June - somehow i don't think that will happen. I hope no one's been jumping the queue. Does anyone know how production slots are allocated to dealers?

I would imagine that it varies from dealer to dealer based upon volume of sales.
