My Ride: 2004 545i Sport, Premium, Cold Weather, Ipod, 35% Tinted windows

Today my steering wheel controls just totally stopped functioning. At first they were not working then I turned off the car and then they worked again. Finally they seem to not be functioning at all even after turning the car on and off. Has anyone else experienced this issue? I have to take the car in anyways as I have had a "passenger restraint system malfunction" that happened today as well. Man I love driving this car but the ticks are annoying.

My Ride: 2010 M5 alpine white, black full leather, etc.

Can you explain what is going on more clearly? i.e. the power steering is completely gone, etc. Also, what are you driving, with what options? i.e 545i w/ sport package, etc. Also why are you posting this here rather than in "discussion"?
