Which So. Cal dealers are best with 545's?
#1
I have been bit with the 545 bug!
I want to offer $1,500 to $2,000 over ED invoice for a '05 545. The way I look at it the process is simple. They order a car for me, I fly to Germany in the dead of winter and they get btwn. $1,500 to $2,000 profit without losing one of their own allocations.
What dealers in Southern California do you think would do this deal?
Other terms on a 3 yr. lease.
MF: .00125
Residual - 58%
3 yr./15k miles
Any suggestions would be great!

Try Jerry Reynolds at Alexander BMW Downtown LA re. the 1500 over invoice. I ended up at the Hermosa Beach BMW for 300 more (1800) because it was closer to home (very important to me). They tacked on 500 advertising fee (Legitimate or not depending on whom you talk to. It appears to me they would add this ad fee if they have agreed to such a low price over invoice--to make the total 2000-2300 over invoice.) So make sure that ad fee is discussed from beginning. To me 2300 was acceptable as I was tired of negotiating so I went ahead.
Hope this helps and hope it's ok to list name and price on this board.
Regards,
Can

I did my ED through Jerry Bender at South Bay BMW (in Hermosa Beach now moving to Torrance). He is the fleet manager and he cut out all of the BS. A salesman at Long Beach BMW actually tried to bait and switch me on the price. I was really shocked. I thought that stuff only went on at used Hyundai dealers.

My Ride: 2004 545i Silver Grey premium sound sport pkg auto trans rear sunshade fold down seats park distance control . Did euro delivery in July 2004. This was second ED.
I would recommend you give Hank Castillo at Long Beach BMW (562) 427-5494 a call. I did ED in May/June 03 and again did a 545 in July 04. Very happy with price. He can be very competitive. These were something like the 6 or 7 BMW I have purchased from this dealer. Always been very happy. They are easy to get to just off the 405 between 605 and 710. Tell Hank you heard about him from this forum.
