Are those OEM parts? I sell aftermarket pads/rotors that are used by a lot of members on here that are significantly cheaper.

Front - $175/pair
Rear - $160/pair
Front Pads - $100
Rear Pads - $75
Sensors - $20/ea

But shipping to Hawaii might kill the deal.

Thats about right for factory rotors as long as they are factory rotors and not aftermarket.

Factory rotors have riveted aluminum hats. The After market do not have aluminum hats.

20$ extra for condoms is not a bad price! As long as your rotor is safe

The rotors do seem on the high side - you could probably get a pair of cross-drilled aftermarket rotors for that price if not cheaper.

There's no way in hell I'd pay that much for OEM pads.

Labor's a bit high - but then again you live in Hawaii

This doesnt mean anything except getting an idea for the sensors and the labour.

I have seen Rotors that cost 300 each and seen those that cost 120 each.
So tell you tell us exactly what your buying no one can really answer your question.

Standard (BOSCH) front brake rotors for a 530i should be around $125 (for a set, pair of two) (324mm diameter)
Front BOSCH brake pads are around $60
Rear pads $60 too
Sensors are $15 each
+ 1,5 hour labor

Definitely not more than $400.

At least these are the prices in Europe. Not sure in US, maybe Acuteperformance is offering a very good deal.

I just got two quotes from two independents in the Dallas, TX. area with the first one recommending that rotors on the front be replaced also:

Front Brake pads: 144.33 labor: 90.00
Front Brake rotors: 207.00ea labor: 90.00
Front Wear sensor 25.90

Rear brake pads: 131.24 labor: 90.00
Rear Wear sensor 27.18

Independent #2 was less specific:

$400 for the front brakes
$450 for the rear

Rotors: $300 front and $350 rear if either is needed.
