My Ride: 2005 530i Mystic Blue Metallic, Black Dakota Leather
my local dealership printed out a service history for my vehicle, and i was pretty happy to see the list of repairs done.....
here they are:
at 49k - alternator, water pump, drive belt, ft wiper rubber insert, a/c compressor drive belt
at 46k - sib #12-06-06 recall n52 repgm obd diagnostic
at 36k - engine air filter dirty
at 31k - wiper linkage windscreen stiff to move
at 28k - seat occupancy detection mat front permanent malfunction
at 25k - brake fluid change, ft wiper rubber insert, microfilter replacement,
at 19k - diagnosis module for fuel tank leakage dmtl permanent malfunction
at 14k - rear door window poorly adapted/fitted, ft wiper rubber insert,
now my vehicle has 68k, what do you guys think this little history repair list???
i'm out of warranty as only the first owner can extend. do you think i should be okay without a warranty???
any suggestions on keeping my vehicle in good shape? i'm planning on keeping it for a long time
thanks fellas

i left those out, but that was changed every 15k which is way too long in my opinion, i get my oil changed every 5 - 6k...

Seems typical - you could change your wipers every other month - poor design leads to streaking after a month or two

I have always loved that color, just couldn't find one when I was looking. Looks like you've had a lot done, what was your build date? Mine is 03/05 and it doesn't nearly have either the miles or the repair history (maybe I got lucky?) anyway, you should be okay for a while, but others with more miles may want to chime in - I have 43K so not really equal to yours.
BTW, did you get yours CPO? If so you could've extended the warranty yourself, I did and got everything taken care of until 03/11. That included the maint. extension as well as full CPO warranty (even though I didn't pay for the maint extension)

You should see my list! I have over $12,000 in warranty work on my car!
Considering this is a BMW with 60k+ miles, this list is tiny
