i hope this is the correct place for my question, if not please move it to the correct. Checking in the versionkontroller menu of my car (520D,6 months old, 59 registration) I can read:
03-2010-I-450-20080201-1033 (last line of versionkontroller menu)
Is it the software version of the control? How old is that software? Any new update to fix issues?

Note that BMW has changed their jargon for the coded software data information in the vehicle from Target Data Status to Vehicle Data Status. This is the ONLY reliable and accurate means of identifying the software level in any vehicle these days.
