am i able to get more detail about the production as it proceeds, or will it eventually just change to awaiting transport?

why can't they video it for me? and post it on the web?

I always thought it would be cool if they could do this. You'd think the technology would exist. How fun would it be to check out your car production on the web???

The on-line system is pretty cool but 3-5 days behind schedule.

Have your sales person email you his production info. Once your car is schedule for production, they can obtain a printout of all of the scheduled dates for build start, build completion, transfer to shipping, boat departure and arrival, VPC...

Along the way, your salesman can provide updates - at least mine did after I kept bugging him about what was going on.

It is a long wait, but the result is sweat!
