Hey everyone.

My 3 yr lease is up on my 2007 530i in February and I will probably be about 15k under mileage. Do I get refunded in any way for these miles? Or should I start driving cross country soon? I I needed 15k but ended up getting a job closer to home and didnt need any miles.

Also what do you guys think would be the next car to buy. I will be too early for the new body 530, are there any new cars bmw is releasing next year? maybe a new 6 series?

Thanks

Maybe you should try to cut a deal to extend your lease until the next rev of 5 series come out. Sounds like it's still in well protected by warranty and maintenance until the new models are available to reconsider.

Yah, Im thinking of doing that.

If I was to turn it though what kind of refund/incentive would I get for all the extra miles?

Thanks

There is no way you will get credit for mileage....that's why I'm planning to "top up" my mileage by driving to San Francisco over the holidays

Crap. I thought I read somewhere about a "bmw Loyalty Reward for Unused Miles"

Thumbs down

I did some searching and found a post on an old BMW forum ... wrote that information may be included in the lease end package you will receive shortly before lease is up. In the meanwhile I suggest you contact BMWFS and inquire.

To my knowledge at the time of taking the lease you can get a "low mileage lease" or a "regular lease" obviously the low mileage lease is a bit cheaper but no bonus if you under run your miles. This is BMW Canada though, perhaps it's different in the US.
