My Ride: 545i Silver Grey on Black, 6 Spd Manual, Sport, Comfort Seats, Sat Radio, Fold Down RS

Hello E60.Net,

Forgive me if this has been asked before, but I am looking for any recommendations for BMW sales in the LA area. I was hoping to buy a new 05 545i but it is difficult to find reputable sources of dealer opinions. The site dealerrater.com is a start but you can never tell how legitimate the posts are. That is why I came here.

I've been to a few dealers such as Santa Monica, Crevier, Irvine, and a few others but I always prefer to hear from someone first hand how their whole experience went.

I don't expect to find my car in stock (as dealers in LA don't carry many manual transmissions) but if all goes well I can soon be a fellow E60 owner.

Thank you for any advice or suggestions,

Pacific BMW in Glendale, ask for Casey Miranda. (He was my salesman at New Century but just moved to Pacific BMW. I've had good experiences at both. Also, Nick Alexander BMW tends to be a little lower in pricing...lower overhead...but a little off the beaten path. Good luck!

You can call Valencia BMW and talk with Robert Grass. He was able to get my 530i almost fully loaded for 1,500.00 over invoice. The service he gave me was great. You call and negotiate a price, he will then fax over the needed paperwork you will be ready to go and pick up the car with the options that you are looking for and if he doesn't have it he will find on.

You can tell him that Zach Taylor refereed you. I bought mine about two months ago. Good luck.

Let me you if that helps.

Dave Frische(sp) at Shelly BMW in Buena Park. He's the Internet Sales guy. Easy to work with. Pretty good discount. I bought early so maybe the discount is better now. Find another dealer to get service from.

Peter or Hank @ Long Beach BMW. Second BMW I have bought through them and Costco referred me to them. $1500 over invoice for the 545. Costco also referred me to Capital One for financing...3.94% for 60 months and less for a shorter period. LBBMW also had financing for 3.7% 60 months.

I'd recommend going to Century BMW in Alhambra on Huntington Drive. They are definitely a good dealership. Thats where I picked up my 545i and three other BMWs. And they also had my car located and delivered to me within a week, and my 545i is a 6-spd. Talk to Tim Cunningham at Century BMW, he's a great guy always willing to help me out with my services too. If he asks who recommended him, tell him Jon choi did.
