I love the look. The vehicle has 22000 miles on the clock and has sport/ premium w/ nav. They are certifiying it right now. just wondering on a ball park figure to go with? And how much does that CPO add to the value of this particular car?
Any ideas would be apprectiated.
Thanks

The CPO is more of peace of mind. You will not have to pay for anything until you hit 50k. Im thinking 35-37k would be a fair amount for this car.

30-35k is about right price for a 06 CPO with all the options listed. CPO cars are usaully a ball park of 5-6k value added to the car when sold in a bmw dealer, privatly about 3k-4k over book list value.

Two things about bimmers that change the price drastically: Options/Packages and Mileage. Don't buy a car with high miles, or one with no packages.
A 2008 with 35K miles means someone ran the shiet out of it - even purchasing it in 07.
A BMW with no packages is like riding in a tank, feels good, runs ok, but all you're buying is the BMW logo.
I paid 35K for my 2007 530i (18 month lease return/18K miles) in March and it came with both the sport and premium packages (no NAV - as I hate BMW navigation systems - I got an iPhone thougha as my nav though..)
For an 06, with 22K miles you should pay anywhere from 28K-33K with CPO. Make sure you get the EXTENDED warranty so you're not stuck paying for maitenance before the car is paid off.
Also pay $100 to have the car inspected by another BMW dealer and make sure you get the car fax sent to you.
I would negociate them down by printing a list of similar cars with the same packages/miles.
You can buy a BMW now for cost these days. so many of them are being returned due to economic/lease expiry
REMEMBER - Look at the BUILD DATE of the car - see if it was built in 05 or 06... i hear anything built before 06 wasn't as good as those built after... don't remember what though...
Happy buying.

low 30's is the most you should pay. There are 545i's out there for the same price and those have standard features that are only optional on the 530. Also, depends where are. If you are in a competitive area with several dealers then you can get an even sweeter deal.
