price to negotiate for 525i
#1
Hi !
The 525i Invoice price has gone up to $38855 from $38200 a few months ago. The car that I am negotiating does not have the start/stop button ... so do I negotiate with the lower invoice or the higher invoice?
Any thoughts are highly appreciated.
Thanks,

My car dealer want to show me the invoice of the car, and I said NO. I don't care about the invoice, only focus on the Out The Door price. The invoice is very misleading how much dealer paid for the car, there are rebates and incentives dealer receives but you will never know.

Goto Edmunds.com and look up the vehicle there. It will give you msrp and invoice. Plus print out all the invoice prices for all the options. You can also see if the if there are any dealer incentives currently active.
I printed everything out and when I met with the sales manager ( I never deal with a sales advisor) we agreed on a small increase for each option and I ended up $835.00 over wholesale. The manager even printed the wholesale vehicle inquiry sheet and gave it to me because he knew I was educated on the prices.
Also, chew them dowm on the MACO and training fee. Twenty bucks is twenty bucks.
Good luck
