I am planning on going to my local bmw steelership within the week, and order a bmw 535xi.

I looked at all the "confidential price" lists and all of that. I am pretty sure I can get the car at about $1,000 above invoice.

What I want to get in the Car (Invoice prices)

535xi- $47,470
Sport Package - 1,185
Premium - $1,910
Cold Weather - $685
Steptronic Transmission - N/C
PDC - $635
Lane deviation warning - $455
Navi - $1730

+ 1000 above invoice

The Price of The Car should be around $55,070 including destination

Can anyone help me out with an estimated lease, with no money down except for first months payment.

Do you know residuals and MF? I am not sure they are out yet.

I am assuming you are thinking of doing an ED. The 1K over invoice would only work on a ED car. Also don't expect 1K over invoice from your closest dealer. I have 5 or 6 dealers within an 1 hour of my house and it still took some work to get my price. There are some dealers who just dont want any ED business. They are usually run by some clueless sales manager that does not understand the advantage of gaining the extra business and easy sell with very little work for the dealership.

Also for ED there is no requirement to even use a local dealer, you could use one on the other side of the country.

Good Luck

Also you might want to think twice about the lane warning option. I have read several reviews that state that it is actually rather annoying and really only good for highway driving. I would get rid of that and add HUD. It really is cool.

Hey Lawrence,

Not sure if you're planning on doing any modding, specifically wheels, but the xi has a very high offset which doesn't allow for many choices in wheels. Unless you do custom made HRE's or iForged (which can run you around $6K), you may want to consider just going to the RWD 535i. Just a heads up...

 Agreed regarding the Lane Departure warning. Friends with an Infiniti M35x have it on their car. They used it for two weeks when they first got the car, and it has been turned off ever since. Very annoying is the verdict. Save your $400.

 I test drove an M35x for a friend last year and found the Lane Departure Warning very annoying.

Let us know the money rate when you find out. I can't imagine it's all that attractive.
