I've had a few dings pulled from my E39 and one pulled from my E60. They do an awesome job. And the guys that having been doing it for years, do it really fast. It's comforting to know that dings can get pulled so easily, but it still sucks to see one on your baby when you come out of the Mall Parking lot because your wife made you park so damn close to the entrance, knowing full well that you wanted to park in no-mans land to avoid any potential hazards. Hahaha!

Whats really cool is that some PDR specialists will even come to where the car is to do the work.
You can actually buy a complete set of PDR tools with instructional videos for a few hundred bucks. I've even seem them on Ebay. The process is not difficult at all. I thought about buying a set a few years back to try out on a hail damaged car I had at the time. Figured if I got good I could even do it for money on the side.
$50 bucks to smooth a dent is pretty cheap. I've seen places that charge $75 -$100 per area (door, qtr panel) and then $25 for each additional dent in that area.

My wife knows where we are parking as soon as she sees which car we're taking, lol. She's resigned to the fact that we're parking in a different zip code from the mall.
I have an even better technique to avoid door dings from mall parking lots...have the wife wear comfortable tennis shoes, slow down to about 5mph near the main mall entrance and she can "bail" out then you head to the nearest sports bar and watch the game. Meet her back at the mall entrance a couple of hours later and "tada" no door dings One potential side-effect is that you may end up single using this technique...but more $$'s for mods anyways

That's one of the ways they 'certify' used vehicles, they do nice work.
The MB dealer damaged one of my cars going back; after getting them to admit they did it since it was a kink on top of the fender and the windshield was just changed(yes they dropped it on the car), I told them not to touch it fearing they would ruin the paint. Next time the car went in for service they called in Dent Wizard....it was perfect.
