Well I received my 180 day lease expiration notice from BMW. I can't believe how fast the time has gone since I picked up my 5, two and a half years later not one single issue outside of normal service and a pleasure to drive. The email now has me thinking, hmmm time for a new one. As others in my situation I am short on the F10 and no real changes I presume since my 07. The biggest I guess is my 530i is now a 535i twin turbo. Has anyone gone from a 530 to a 535? Is there a real difference in the power? Also what is the best time to exit my lease? I thought I read that BMW would let you out a couple of months early if you leased another vehicle? Finally will there be any loyalty, I currently have my 5 and a 2009 X5 with BMW Financial.

Thanks for the info, time to start deciding on color combinations and options again. Hmmm maybe Alpine White/Natural brown or Black and Natural brown.....

Go for the 535i, it's a COMPLETELY different animal! Besides which, the F10 is still a ways off, and you should probably wait for the SECOND year of F10 production so BMW can work out all the kinks!

I went from a 330 to a 535. For normal driving there is not much difference. It's when you stomp on the accelerator that the power is unleashed. The TT I6 has much more torque and it's wider over the rev band. It's a torque monster. The TT will pull from 1K RPM whereas the NA I6 was happier above 2K RPM. In the NA I6 you keep the revs up. For the TT you can be lazy ala a NA V8. I got a sweet deal on the 5 series or else I would have kept my 330. The LCI changes impressed me more than the TT. You can probably end your lease early. There are deals to be had. Just have to work them.
