Here's the website http://www.manheim.com. This is where you can check out what price your car could go for at auction at wholesale prices. You have to register for the site as a licensed wholesale dealer though. I imagine there have to be some people on this forum that would have access to the site.

I have access to Manheim as I am a car sales man. When you look up a vehicle on Manheim you put in make, model, year. You can also put in National, or regions in the U.S.to get the results. They come as below average, average and above average. they will not and you can not put in the different packages you have on your BMW. On July 21 my '05 545 Lease was up.Bmw had a risidual value of just over $37,000. Manheim Auctions said $24,000 for above average on a '05 545.I have been selling CARS FOR 17 years and I know I could not buy that car with the options and the condition for $24,000.I didn't think it was worth $37,000 either.I negotiated with the dealer and came away with it for $29,000 out the door. My car is an '05 545 auto, sport,,logic 7 sound, cold weather, power rear shades, rear heated seats.Original MSRP OF $63,345.My out the door price included it being certified for total of 6 years or 100,000 miles and a maintanance plan for that same period.I'm satisfied with that price and I have my car that I love. Any question I'll be happy to answer if I can.
