I am trying to purchase my 06' 530, my lease is up in Oct. A member on this board (who has been MIA unfortunately) gave me a price range taken directly from the Manheim pricing report, that he suggested I should be able to purchase my car for without encountering much resistance.WELL, needless to say, my dealers counter offer is about 4400 higher, and after negotiating with him for a good portion of the day, he does not appear to be going any lower. Can anybody, ANYBODY! give me some advice as to how to proceed?

Do you know what residual value they used when they calculated the lease?

What number is the dealer quoting you? As far as I remember, you should be able to buy the car for the $32,300...

I'm not sure yet...I can't tell exactly what number the OP was given by the dealer and I was hoping I'd get it out of him...

I was told by another member who appeared to be knowlegable, that I should be able to get the car CPO'd for 29k max. The dealer is willing to go 30k not CPO'd, and my residual is 32300. Did I get bad info? am I being unreasonable Rudy?

When It comes to vehicles.....Everything is Negotiable

The RV is just what BMW will say the car is worth, but 3 yrs ago when he did his lease, BMW didn't know gas prices were going to double. Car prices are market driven and will always depend on market conditions.
